“ Always a great time with food from Mediterranean Cafe! Our favorite is the beef kabobs. Rice is so good. And can't get enough of the chili sauce and garlic sauce!!!! We had a friends Christmas dinner and decided to save ourselves some time and energy by catering some food. We asked for the food in trays. Everything was perfectly packaged and was ready for pick up at the scheduled time! The food was a hit, tons of left overs, and very happy and full guests. I wish I got a better photo... but this is the best I have. lol ”
“ I've heard so much good things about this place and finally got a chance to try! People weren't kidding when they said the line never dies (but it does go rather quickly). I picked up a couple lamb wraps, a shawarma wrap and a lamb plate for lunch when friends were in town. I thoroughly enjoyed my plate and others all said their food slapped, esp the garlic sauce! I do wish they had beef shawarma on the menu though. Hint hint .. maybe? ”
“ I am a regular customer at Mediterranean Cafe restaurant. I am always impressed by the excellent and speedy service I receive even when I place multiple orders. When it comes to the food, this is the BEST flavorful and Most Authentic Mediterranean food I have ever tried. Their consistency of service and quality of food are spectacular.They have many delicious dishes in their menu; beef kebab, lamb kebab, Kefta kebab, chicken shawarma, salad, falafel, hummus, babaganoush,stuffed grape leaves, and all different types of wraps. Beef kebab and Kefta kebab plate is my family's favorite order here. In addition to, the wraps. For me, I love the veggie plate. You can have four different choices. I usually order hummus, babaganoush , grape leaves and salad. The orders come with fresh pita bread. They open Monday through Friday from 11AM to 5 PM. On Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM, and they close on Sunday. Mediterranean cafe is a real hidden gem in Pasadena. It is a great place to try, they offer Excellent customer service, Excellent quality of food, and Excellent price! ”
“ Not sure why I haven't tried this place until recent. I drove by looking for a place to eat after having tried almost every restaurant in this plaza and a blue awning with "Mediterranean Cafe" caught my eye. Came with my friend and we couldn't decide between the lamb or the beef plate but the guy behind the counter said "we can do half half". Music to my ears. As we were paying (literally seconds after ordering), the cashier starts to bag up an order. We thought it was for the customer before us but nope, it was ours. That efficiency paralleled that of a HK cafe in HK. Now onto the food. Rice was fluffy and not overly greasy. The salad dressing added the perfect amount of tart to the lettuce. I preferred the beef over the lamb bc it was a bit more tender but you really can't go wrong either. It came with pita bread and we added a side of falafel with an exterior tougher than we were used to. Overall, one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in the area and I'm not the only one who can vouch for that! ”
“ Stopped by here for the Beef Kabob and Chicken Shawarma. So delicious. The Beef Kabob had a nice flavor. The plates come with a side of Mediterranean Salad, Rice, and Hummus. The garlic sauce and spicy sauce are delicious condiment that pair well with the plate. The chicken was moist and tender. I came right when they opened and there was no line so the service was fast. Please be patient as I saw that they were short staffed on a posting by the cash register. Restaurant was clean and there was seating placed outside. Overall, pleased with the quality of the food. ”
